| War Era Veterans Alliance History |
Our Alliance team was started by veterans for veterans.
Approximately eight years ago, a gentleman phoned our founder, Mark McCauley, looking for help for his father who was a WWII veteran. He was living in an assisted living community and enjoyed the quality of life they were able to provide him. Sure, he needed help, but he was and still is very active and alert. He had actively served in two wars, pulled through the depression, had a wonderful wife who sadly died just a year before and three beautiful children.
Now, he was being "asked" to move out. You see, he couldn't continue to pay the $2,500 a month it cost to live in the community he had come to call home. He and his children thought that his only option was to go into a nursing home.
That's when we got the call.
After many phone calls to the VA, extensive research on the internet and reading numerous books on the subject, we were hard pressed to find a solution that would satisfy this hard working veteran.
Then we came across the Aid and Attendance Pension Program.
Well, we thought, this just might be the answer. It took us several tries to get our friend through the process - but through it he did come. He received his first check that included retroactive benefit from the day he turned in his application. He is currently living in that same Community and has since become our greatest supporter. |
That was several years ago. Back then, it seemed impossible to find information regarding the benefit. When we goggled the name "Aid and Attendance", nothing came up.
Today, if you attempt the same search you may finds thousands of links with all sorts of information. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to designate the correct facts from the down right wrong ones.

We did our Research
We spent one full year investigating the program. We traveled all over the United States talking to the Veterans Administration (VA), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Lawyers, CPAs, Senior Advocates and Senior Living Community Directors. We studied and became fully educated on the program.
The problem was, most of the people working at the VA had never even heard of the benefit. Now that is a problem... but, we had a solution - WE EDUCATED THEM!
Our hard worked has paid off.
As of today, we are proud to announce that we have educated hundreds of thousands of War Era Veterans, surviving spouses of War Era Veterans and the public regarding the Aid and Attendance Pension Program.
Because of our teams perseverance, we can state that 100% of the qualified War Era Veterans and/or Surviving Spouses of War Era Veterans that have followed our instructions, have been approved and are receiving the benefits.
The program works!

There is absolutely NO CHARGE for our services. We are a private organization dedicated to the betterment of our War Era Veterans.
As a Veteran, our Alliance Team Founder has made it his mission to make certain that every War Era Veteran and/or Surviving Spouse of a War Era Veteran who is eligible learns about the program and has the opportunity to apply for the benefits.
